Looking to fly from Singapore to Krabi, Thailand, or Clark, Philippines soon? Jetstar Asia has just announced two direct routes that will commence in June.
Jetstar Asia will offer 6 weekly return flights between Changi International Airport, Singapore and Krabi each week from the 7th June, 2024. Krabi is a coastal resort town in the Thailand tropics, and is known for its beautiful beaches and cliffs.
Jetstar estimates that this new route will provide up to 60,000 fares each year. The flight time is roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes and will depart as follows:
Flight 3K571 & 3K572 - Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Flight 3K573 & 3K574 - Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Jetstar will also commence flying to Clark in the Phillipines. Sometimes referred to as the Clark Freeport Zone, this former US airforce base hosts everything from country clubs to theme parks.
Initially there’ll be four weekly return flights between Singapore and Clark. These will commence from the 16th June as follows:
Flight 3K775 & 3K776 - Every Thursday and Sunday
Flight 3K779 & 3K780 - Every Monday and Wednesday
From the 18th October, this will increase to five weekly return flights and change to the following:
Flight 3K775 & 3K776 - Every Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Flight 3K779 & 3K780 - Every Monday and Wednesday
The flight time is approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. More than 45,000 customers are expected to fly on this route before the end of 2024.
“Our services to Clark are back by popular demand, not only for holiday makers but those wanting to visit family and friends," Jetstar Asia CEO, John Simeone said.
To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Jetstar has launched a sale on fares for both routes until 11.59pm (SGT) on Friday 8 March, unless sold out prior. Fares start at SG$75 for the Singapore to Krabi route and SG$95 for Singapore to Clark.
This news comes after Jetstar recently announced a new route between Adelaide and the Whitsundays.
