If you’re planning a flight from Perth to Bangkok, Thailand then Thai Airways is now offering direct flights once more.

If convenience is what you’re seeking, the non-stop flight is now available for customers wanting to fly to Thailand. Other alternative options exist, but require stopovers at other airports along the way.

Those flying out of Perth have had a number of new options recently added, including new flights direct to Johannesburg via South African Airways.

When do the flights depart and arrive?

The flights depart daily, but operate at different times throughout the week. TG482 departs Perth on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 4:20pm and arrives at 10:20pm local time. TG484 leaves Perth on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:20am and arrives into Bangkok at 3:20pm in the afternoon.

Meanwhile the return flights depart Bangkok at 7:20am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as TG481. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays this flight leaves at 12:01am instead, arriving into Perth at 7:45am.

What aircraft services the route?

Thai Airways says it’ll be using its Boeing 787-8 aircraft on the route. The aircraft has a total of 256 seats available.

These seats are configured as 22 business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, and 234 economy class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.

How much does it cost?

Seats are available now in economy, starting at $967 for a return trip. You can also use frequent flyer miles such as KrisFlyer to try and score a reward seat instead.
