Melbourne Airport’s newest airport hotels are set to open July 1, 2024 according to Accor.

Located near Terminal 4, the Novotel Melbourne Airport is now accepting bookings online from July 1, 2024. The nearby ibis Styles hotel is also set to open on July 1, with bookings now available.

The Novotel is a 4.5 star hotel with 248 rooms. It also boasts a health and wellbeing club, indoor heated swimming pool, gym, and three food and beverage outlets. Conference, event and co-working spaces are also available.

The ibis has 216 rooms, and is rated 4 stars. It too boasts access to an indoor pool, gymnasium, and wellness services although guests will need to pay extra for these.

The two hotels are in the same complex, which resides within a five minute walk of terminals 3 and 4. Terminal 1 and 2 are approximately ten minutes walk.

Construction of the dual hotel was first announced in 2019, and at the time the two hotels were expected to open in 2021. The Built group are responsible for the $160 million development of the ten-storey hotel precinct.

Fender Katsalidis designed the complex, which Melbourne Airport says “will bring a much needed social hub to our space bringing visitors and business colleagues together.”

A number of hotels are already situated near Melbourne Airport, including the Ibis Budget Melbourne Airport.

However the Park Royal Melbourne Airport has prime position directly opposite Terminals 1 and 2. It has recently been undergoing significant renovations to uplift the rooms and facilities, ahead of the opening of the new hotels.
